MISTR PRESENTS | CORBIN HARRIS

Paving the way for a younger generation, Corbin has changed the sport of skateboarding forever, all with a grin firmly planted on his face.

The sport of Skateboarding as we know it today would perhaps not have reached the global fever pitch it has without the tenacity of one MISTR Corbin Harris.

Hitting the decks from age 14 after dreams of starring in the Rugby Union were dashed by an elusive growth spurt, Harris turned all his passion and determination to the recently opened skate park minutes from his family home. The rest, as they say, is history, with Corbin going from strength to strength, amassing a collection of medals from the coveted X games along with staring spots on the Vans Warped tour.

This was all happening at a time when skateboarding as a sport was flirting with a mainstream audience. Just one great push in the right direction is all it would take. No one, save for Harris, was willing to bomb this proverbial hill.

Armed with a cheeky grin, Harris pulled a 180 and began commentating for Fox TV, a first for any skateboarder. What followed was a flourishing career in Media, with Corbin going on to host his own slew of shows, gaining the sponsorship and attention of global players.

Every achievement Corbin has had in his career has been off his own back, not once being handed an opportunity on a silver platter. Through years of carving out his own spot in a rapidly expanding field, Corbin has been able to solidify himself as one of the greatest talents in skateboarding.
